I am working with a group of quilters who make and give out quilts for our returning wounded soldiers, help is needed, so I am asking everyone who visits here to consider helping.
Below is a note from Sue, founder of American Hero Quilts, you can visit the website at
American Hero Quilts - Our Story
-----------------
This is from Sue Nebeker <http://www.american heroquilts. com> - "there
are so many wounded and so few quilts or tops coming in at the
moment. If you have the time to make a top, it would be greatly
loved and appreciated.
In addition I have sent out seven quilts in the last two weeks to
families who have young men who came back and killed themselves. I
have two military bases who have sent requests for quilts for
children and the numbers increase as I get them. I got a spread
sheet from Alaska of all the children and when I asked for
clarification of spelling on one of them she added three more names!
Even if you can just make a baby quilt, that would be fabulous."
------------------------------
Also;
If you can only make a block or two, feel free to and they will be added to other blocks and put into tops. If you can make blocks let me know at ...galynn92347@yahoo.com..... I will give you the address to send them to so they can be combine with other blocks into a top.
Perhaps you don't sew so you can't make blocks or tops, but you could donate money toward batting, Sue's address is on the website above. Consider sending just $10.00 to help with the batting which Sue is buying most of with her own money.
Please, please help if you can.
Thank you and may God Bless
Gail
Welcome to our Wyoming blog. On this blog I have been sharing how we came to move here and the 'adventure' we have been on every since. We started with a hillside, and today (6 years later) are finally putting in some landscaping. We are by no means done. I hope you will come along on our adventure.
I also have 2 other blogs. Big Horn Mountain Creations show cases my quilting and other artistic adventures. Decorating my Tin Shack, is about creating a home thru decorating. Both are on the side bar, I hope you will stop by.

rust. These pictures are taken from our hill.
Want to see some more Wyoming fall color?
