Today's progress
Today's progress, the floor joists are up. The open space is where the stairs will be going, Kirk has to frame that area in and then we will add the other joists.
We are very tired. I helped do this. The side on the right is the part I set. Tomorrow will be another busy day, we are hoping that the floor will be on early this week.

That is moving along so fast! Then, after the stairs and the flooring, the next part of the wall goes up?
I enjoyed the process of the walls immensely--good pics. They will use one of those boom trucks to bring in the rafters too won't they? They did here and it was fascinating to watch. They are doing a great job and your house doubles in size right with that addition? Going up very quickly! I loved reading the posts below too but did not comment--a great job is what I can say!
I am enjoying the process..and I love that picture at the top--each time I come to your blg I see it and makes me feel good to see it! YES, those trucks are huge and it is fun to watch--amazing how much you have done so far!! *~*CAROLE*~*
